About this product

A hardened 8-port managed PoE switch built for places a desktop switch would not survive — outdoor cabinets, factories, traffic poles and substations. It runs from -40 to 75 °C, mounts on a DIN rail, and feeds up to 30W per port to PTZ domes, illuminators and heaters over standard 802.3at. Layer-2 management brings VLANs, port isolation, storm control and watchdog auto-recovery, so a frozen camera link reboots itself instead of paging you at 3am. A wide 12-57V DC input and redundant power pins keep it alive on solar or vehicle supplies.

FAQ

Can it power heaters and PTZ at the same time?

Yes — 30W per port over 802.3at covers most PTZ domes plus a small heater. Total budget depends on the model; size it against your worst-case camera.

What does "managed" give me over the fanless switches?

VLANs to separate camera and office traffic, port isolation for tenant sites, storm control, and a hardware watchdog that auto-reboots a frozen port. Best for larger or multi-tenant installs.
